Report a problem
This page is a draft. We'll finish it before Pebble & Moss opens.
If something on Pebble & Moss is hurtful or illegal, tell us. The same goes for anything of yours shared without your permission. You don't need an account.
The quickest way is the Report link on the note, photo or memorial. Or write to us using the addresses below. Every report gets a reference number. If you leave your email, we'll tell you what we did.
Intimate images shared without consent
If a photo on Pebble & Moss is an intimate image of you (or of someone you're legally allowed to act for) and it was shared without consent, we'll remove it, and any copies we find, within 48 hours of your request.
Use "Report", then "An intimate image of me shared without consent". Or email report@pebbleandmoss.com with:
- a link to the page, or enough to find the image (like the pet's name and which photo);
- a short statement that you believe in good faith the image was shared without consent, with anything that helps us see that;
- a way to reach you;
- your signature (typing your full name is fine). If you're acting for someone else, say so.
Child sexual abuse material
Report it with "Report", choosing "It involves a child". We remove it at once and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as US law requires. Please don't download, copy or share it, even to show us.
You can also report it directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
Cruel notes, accusations, personal details, spam
- On your own memorial: you can delete any note straight away, and choose to hold future notes from that person.
- On someone else's memorial: use "Report". The owner hears about it, and so do we.
Our content rules say what isn't allowed, including accusations against named people or businesses and other people's personal details.
Someone made a memorial with my pet or my photos
Use "Report" on the memorial, choosing "This is my pet or my photo". Or email hello@pebbleandmoss.com. We may hide the memorial while we look. Our ownership policy says what we can and can't do.
Copyright (DMCA)
If you believe something on Pebble & Moss copies your work without permission, send a notice to our designated copyright agent:
[Agent name] Pebble & Moss [Agent mailing address] [Phone] copyright@pebbleandmoss.com
Your notice needs:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- what work you think was copied;
- where it is on Pebble & Moss (a link is best);
- your address, phone number and email;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by you, your agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
When we remove something after a notice, we tell the person who posted it.
If your photo was removed and you think it was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. It needs:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- what was removed, and where it was before;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and phone number;
- a statement that you consent to the federal district court for where you live (or, if you live outside the US, any district where we can be found), and that you'll accept legal papers from the person who complained.
We forward your counter-notice to the person who complained and tell them we'll put the item back in 10 business days. We put it back 10 to 14 business days after we got your counter-notice, unless they tell us first that they've gone to court.
Repeat infringers: accounts that get valid notices more than once may be closed.
